Kladovo

.

Power prices are expected to rise with upward pressure on emissions and phase out of old coal and gas fired generation in the region

It is widely expected that Serbia will announce changes in the Energy Law paving a way for more renewable investments in the country

Serbian power prices are characterized by high volatility and driven by spikes in low hydro environment in the region; even the current market price environment wind farms would be able to generate enough returns

Serbia has previously pledged to have 27% of its generated electricity from wind sources by 2020; the number being 0.36% shows that country will further push to advance towards this target
